* My one-year-old granddaughter loves dogs and music. This is the perfect intelligent learning toy for her. Fun and lessons.* The puppy counts numbers, repeats colors, plays melodies, short tunes and simple phrases.* It is the perfect size for a six month old two maybe three-year-old. I could see even older kids playing with it when no one else was watching.* I am a cautious Nana. I’ll check this puppy out thoroughly to make sure there was nothing dangerous. There are no loose screws, no sharp edges, even the key ring in the puppy smell is secured by round stoppers. Safety first.* The puppie’s head is fixed in one position. The ears move back and forth. The tail moves 360°, all the way around, and makes a wind up sound.* The puppy is actually on wheels, hidden by the 4 feet. When the wheels turn the feet move giving the puppy the appearance of walking. Really clever design.* I haven’t gotten to hear all of the phrases yet, but, they’re all friendly, the ones I have heard.* It’s a happy, positive, learning toy that will be my granddaughter’s friend. I have no doubt.* This black-and-white puppy has already become friends with my little Shih Tzu. She is fascinated and laying right beside the new puppy.* It takes two AAA batteries. Demo batteries are installed. The battery compartment requires a tiny Phillips screwdriver to remove, then replace a screw.* If you have any question, what my name, email me, I will answer.* Hope this info helps.
